The Lone Star is a great place to chill with friends after work, a night out on the town, or just drop by for all the friendly faces and delicious delicacies! Plus, occasional entertainment! While there everyone got to enjoy the stylings of Leah Rose!

I LOVE the atmosphere! Although they do have a sports theme, it’s also got a Southern/Western vibe as well, with lots of hardwood and I love the wooden doors used as walls to separate the private tables!

Their menu has many local favorites to choose from. Many items are Lone Star originals, and some are familiar foods branded with a special twist. Whatever you decide it’s sure to please!

What I order this trip:
🔥 Tommy’s $2 Tacos
🔥 Kurt’s $2 Asian Tacos
🔥Hand breaded Fried Mushrooms
🔥 $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon in a frosted mug

For a sharable starter, the hand breaded golden brown deep fried mushrooms with homemade sauce for dipping is always a great start to any meal!

If all you want to do is chill, relax, and spend as little as possible, order a few tacos and a $1 PBR beer! This is hands down my go to meal at the LONESTAR! Not just for the price, but because it’s down right DELISH!!!

With the Tommy’s $2 Tacos you get your choice of hard or soft, lined with sour cream, topped with seasoned ground beef,
onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

The Kurt’s $2 Asian Tacos is my absolute favorite! You get diced grilled chicken in
Korean chili topped with slaw, then drizzled with a spicy Asian sauce, served in a wonton taco shell.

Although the Tommy’s Tacos are perfectly good, The Kurt’s Asian Tacos will blow you away!!! Everything about the Asian Taco is pure awesomeness! The shell has a unique flavor and texture that mostly stays intact after each bite. Then the tender chicken in Korean chili, smothered in tangy sauce, topped with the creamy coleslaw, is a flavor explosion! It makes me go Mmmm after each bite!

If you’re wanting something bigger to devour than tacos, they have plenty to satisfy. You could have steak, huge burgers and sandwiches, fully loaded fries, and the list just keeps going. So when you get ready to go, treat it like an adventure, eat good, and have fun! Happy Trails!!
