With most towns, there’s at least one restaurant that local’s always recommend as a “must try”. Corinth has an eclectic array of culinary offerings, with Firebird’s sourdough pizza & gourmet burgers rising in the ranks!

The atmosphere is totally relaxed with a classic car theme and plenty of seating. They even have a walk up window now for even more ordering options and convenience.

During my conversation with the owner and staff, I discovered that they pride themselves on using fresh ingredients and preparing everything possible from scratch.

What I ordered:

FERRARI ROLLS – This is their signature sourdough rolled up with pepperoni, garlic sauce mozzarella cheese and a dash of seasoning. I asked many people what they would order and their answers have always included the Ferrari Rolls! And yes, they are technically pizza rolls, but not like any you’ve ever experienced! It’s like the perfect parts of a pepperoni slice condensed into bite sized form. Heavenly!! Do you agree?

“CADDY” PASTA – Pasta topped with grilled steak, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, steak sauce and Swiss cheese. There are a verity of specialty topping combinations to choose from, so pick your favorite and dig into a hardy bowl of deliciousness! Oh, and although you can’t tell from all the cheese and grilled veggies, there’s multiple slices of tasty grilled steak layered in between. My daughter loved this! But I prefer chicken, so next time I’ll order me some Playing Chicken Pasta. I’m already drooling! 🤤

PEEL OUT Specialty Burger – This starts as a fresh baked bun, loaded with a house made beef patty, then topped with a pair of over easy eggs, house creole aioli, and provolone cheese. The owner told me that she breaks the yoke’s before serving so it doesn’t accidentally spill on a customer when biting in. This was a deliciously moist and juicy burger with a real comfort food feel.

For my side, I went with the house cut and seasoned fries. These were seasoned well enough that I almost didn’t use any ketchup, but I couldn’t resist since even it was made fresh in house!

I wanted to order both 12” and 20” pizza’s so y’all could get a measure of just how big the 20” is. Well, that and I really wanted to try both pizzas. 🙂

12 inch Playing Chicken Pizza – This specialty pizza was highly recommended to me and I’ll say that it didn’t disappoint! Of course it starts with fresh sourdough and topped with Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, mushrooms, and spinach. It’s not your typical pizza but was totally delicious.

20 inch Pepperoni Pizza – Nothing to fancy, but really good! You’ve got the slight sweetness from the sourdough and salty action from the pepperoni with plenty of melted cheese and spices to tie it all together.

So, if you’re looking for a place that offers a relaxed atmosphere plus delicious made from scratch menu items where every bite is bursting with flavor, then ride on out to Firebird’s Sourdough Pizza & Gourmet burgers and tell them I sent ya! Happy trails!!
