Goodness Gracious is a family ran restaurant with Nichelle at the helm. For over two years they have been serving up extremely delicious country comfort foods to the folks of Tupelo and beyond.

Most items are made from scratch and loaded with love. Tender, juicy, flavorful, deliciousness, are just a few words that may come to mind after taking your first bite!

I don’t throw the word love around willy-nilly. They have often left happy post-it notes on take out plates, given a rose to new customers, and still deliver plate lunches to Amory, feeding some of those still dealing with the aftermath of the tornado.

They mostly focus on plate lunches with your choice of an entrée, vegetables, bread, and desert. For those that would rather have a burger, Goodness Gracious has got ya covered as well!

NOW also available is VEGAN lunch plates and Gracious Wings to accommodate even more appetites!

What I ordered from the VEGAN menu:

🔥Gracious Wings

Yes, I did order most everything on the Daily Specials. Full disclosure, I made a good meal by trying a little bit of everything, and the rest was enjoyed by my family for at least 2 more meals.

Vegan menu specials:
The Gracious Vegan Burger was packed with juice flavors! Using an all plant based patty to build on, they added vegan cheese, plus grilled peppers and onions. Y’all, this burger wasn’t lacking anything in the flavor department! The flavor packed grilled veggies really made my tastebuds tingle with every bite!

The Vegan Tuscany Fettuccine was deliciously divine! It was a plate full of noodles topped with creamy sauce, spinach, and a few other goodies like sun-dried tomatoes that really popped with their tangy flavors! For the meaty version, try their Chicken Tuscany Fettuccine sometime.

From the meaty menu:
NEW – I tried 6 of the new Gracious Wings with garlic parmesan. The skin had a little crispy crunch with each bite. The white meat was totally tender and packed with subtle flavors from the Goodness Gracious homemade Garlic Parmesan sauce. I really enjoyed them and would highly recommend to other wing aficionados out there!

The Meatloaf was a pretty tall and thick cut, with plenty of juicy, seasoned meat, and topped with a thick layer of ketchup. It was very tasty!

The Smothered Pork Chop has been a customer favorite since they opened several years ago. It’s an almost fork tender chop that’s smothered on a rich brown gravy . Y’all, I could have just eaten this with some loaf bread and would have been satisfied! Just something to help sop up all that rich sauce!

Fortunately though, Goodness Gracious offers fresh breads and several sides to choose from with each plate. I ordered every side offered, and I can attest that any combination would have paired well with either entrée.

All the sides were well seasoned, and although I love a savory meaty main course, I could have been well satisfied with just a plate consisting of the side sections!

Well, actually, the pinto beans had some tender meat mixed in, so technically it could be considered an all in one meal if you just crumbled in a little cornbread.

If a burger and fries is what you’re craving then you definitely need to check out the Gracious burger! I requested a double cheeseburger with bacon that also came with tender grilled onions.

I’m not sure what all topping are available, I just know mine was a masterpiece as is! I can almost taste how juicy and delicious it was by looking at the photo! We eat with our eyes before taking the first bite.

For desert on this day, they had peach cobbler and chocolate chip cake. The cobbler had a deep rich sweet flavor. The slice of cake was pretty thick, but I still wanted more…just cause it was so good! It had a thick layer of frosting in the middle with tiny shavings of black & white chocolate layered all around made this not only delicious, but a beauty to behold!
