Sippi’s BAR & GRILL @ 1010 North Gloster Street • Tupelo, MS 38804 (former Pizza vs Taco location)

I had the honor of being the first guest through the doors for SIPPI’S soft opening recently. They will be fine tuning their offerings for the first couple weeks but are off to a great start!

The vibe is laid back with standard four seat tables, pub style, group table, and two rows of bar seating. They also have a stage area for live music.

The menu has a wide assortment to choose from. Choices include fish, shrimp, chicken, steak, flatbread pizza, apps, salads, dessert, burgers and much more!

Menu showcase:
🔥 Pig Shots – this is a very meaty appetizer and definitely sharable! It’s smoked sausage wrapped in bacon topped with cheese, topped with jalapeño and drizzled with bbq sauce.

🔥Sweet Potato Fries – I already had regular fries to eat with my meal, so I ordered these as an addition appetizer to try. They are flat, slightly crispy, and have a side of hot honey sauce for dipping. I do love sweet potatoes and these would be good as an appetizer, side, or just something to graze on while hanging out!

🔥Smash Burger – two beef Pattie’s cooked on cast iron, placed on a heated bun and loaded with your choice of toppings. I really enjoyed the two thinner patties. It allowed for more crispy edges and that delicious char flavor. The shoe string type fries were the more deluxe version that have extra breading to make them a little juicy more crisp.

🔥Steak Sandwich- this sandwich had thinly sliced steak that was chopped and placed on a heated hogue bun with grilled peppers, onions, and cheese. This was a neat well put together sandwich with little mess and lots of flavor.

🔥 Churros – these are small bite sized, filled with cream cheese, dusted with cinnamon sugar, and drizzled with caramel sauce. I ❤️ THESE! I’ve always enjoyed churros, but these are the first I’ve found that were filled with cream cheese. A WINNING combination!

The buzz around a new restaurant opening always sparks excitement. Curious minds wonder if the menu will be diverse, possible live music, family-friendliness, and local ownership. At SIPPI’S Bar & Grill, rest assured that they check all the boxes with a resounding “yes” to everything! Visit for yourself soon and tell Cynthia and the crew that I recommend you! Happy Trails!!
