Delta Belles Dive is located across from Ashley Furniture in Ecru. They offer a lunch menu with some quick cafeteria style plate lunch options, and a delicious dinner menu for a leisurely evening.

As of this writing, the restaurant is still new and ramping up operations to full speed ahead. But don’t let the newness fool you. It’s owned by Lexi Wilson who has been in and around the delicious dining industry most of her life. Most recently she owned LuLu’s Delta Steakhouse in Ponotoc, an extension of her family’s Delta Steakhouse.
Talking with Lexi about her new endeavor, she has a passion for the restaurant industry and a creative flair. She wanted to create her own brand to explore her creative side more completely, and take the bull by the horns. Thus, Delta Bella Dive was born!!

Lexi’s passion for perfect steaks is well known in the local community, so I decided to explore the menu and travel off the beaten path for my first visit.
Menu Showcase:
🔥Fried Green Tomatoes – The Green Tomatoes are sliced wafer thin, hand breaded, deep-fried to a golden crisp and served with house ranch dressing. The recipe is from Lexi’s grandmother and is a must try!
🔥 Loaded Baked Potato – I could have made a meal of this and been a happy camper! People notice the details even if they don’t mention it sometimes. When I saw my Loaded Baked Potato I had to brag on it immediately! When it arrived to my table, the foil had already been carefully peeled back, the potato split and each topping expertly layered, by the time I started digging in, the cheese was already melting and the sour cream already soaking into the pores of the potato! The salted thick bacon pieces was an excellent addition and duly noted!!
🔥Come Back Burger – When I asked for burger recommendations, I was told that this has already become a local favorite! It’s a huge house prepared patty that is well seasoned with peppery flavors, grilled to a nice charred crust, topped with Come Back sauce, pepper jack, Hickory Bacon, fried onions, lettuce and tomato. I estimate the patty to be around 1/2 pound. This would remind you of a delicious home grilled burger, if the person grilling it was a master chef!!
🔥Pork Chop Ribeye – As I mentioned above, I knew that the owner could prepare mouthwatering beef steaks from visiting her previous restaurant, so I decided on the Bone-In Pork Chop this time with a side of Apple Chutney. The menu estimates each Pork Ribeye to weigh approximately 12/14 onces. Lexi believed the chops to be too close to the mark. So myself and others ordering from that cut received two slices instead of just one!
Each chop was thick, prepared to perfection with the perfect amount of spices. The Apple Chutney was a brilliant addition! The thick texture and sweet flavors paired perfectly with the spices and natural flavors of the Pork Chops! I air fried the leftovers the next day. They were still delicious even after marinating in the fridge overnight!

A couple other sides to enhance you main course are their salads with house dressing and veggies like grilled and seasoned asparagus.
As with any restaurant, you should visit their business page for updated hours, specials, and new menu options.
With the owner’s culinary background, unbridled freedom with her new brand, and passion to her craft, expect each visit to be one to savor and repeat often! Happy Trails!!
