A truck driving couple recently traded in their big wheels and open road for a food trailer and feeding the folks of Tupelo and beyond.

From the owner 👉 “My name is Angela Outlaw. I’m a new food truck owner in this area. I’m originally from the Mississippi Delta area. I started cooking at age 5, and I’m the oldest of all my siblings, and I was in charge of preparing meals for them. I’ve always had a passion for the food culture and cooking.

I was an OTR truck driver, and I wanted to dive into my passion for food more and entrepreneurship. I took a break from driving trucks to work on ideas to go into business for myself. With hard work, dedication, and time that I’ve put into this food truck, I’ve turned my dreams of being an entrepreneur into reality.”

Their specialties include loaded potatoes, tacos, sliders, and more. Which would you like to try?

Menu showcase:
🔥 Chicken Bacon Ranch Spud
🔥 Shrimp & Sausage Spud
🔥 Chicken Fajita Spud
🔥 Chicken Street Tacos (3)
🔥 Pulled Beef Sliders

Each of my Spud selections came with 2 spuds per plate loaded with toppings. You could easily feed two with each order!

The chicken used in each dish was shredded pretty good and was well seasoned.

For the shrimp & sausage and chicken fajita spuds, I asked for them to be half and half on one plate. This gave me a nice sampling of each. The sausage had just the perfect amount of flavor to give it some spice without it being considered hot. The shrimp was fully pealed, butterflied, and plump.

The chicken street tacos are pretty much loaded and ready to eat and enjoy with chicken, pico do gallo, garlic Parmesan, ranch, and cilantro on soft shells.

When shopping for the pork to use in the sliders they ended up with beef instead. For my taste the shredded beef substitution was absolutely delicious!

They have a wet coleslaw on the side and the shredded beef was well seasoned. It had a deep, rich, and savory flavor. I didn’t ask about the ingredients used to marinade the beef, but I was really impressed.

They also offer drinks and dessert to round up your meal for a total experience.

Everyone’s taste is different. My goal is to give you a glimpse of what I see and experience so you can judge for yourselves if the atmosphere and menu are right for you. So when you visit, be sure to tell the crew I recommended you. Happy Trails!!
