What I ordered:
🔹16 once RIBEYE
🔹Shrimp Skewer
To accompany my entree I requested a side salad and the Loaded Baked Potato. Nothing too fancy but really good. My salad came with their homemade ranch dressing, and the potato was already buttered up with bacon pieces and cheddar cheese already melting!

I ordered the Ribeye medium, which for me came out perfectly! The folks at Marshall Steakhouse believe in letting the flavor of meat and marbling shine through. My Ribeye was tender and had that smoky flavor from the charcoal, minimal spices added, and totally delicious!

The Ribeye is their #1 selling steak. In fact, Marshall Steakhouse has been voted #1 steakhouse in MIssissippi by Food Network and the Mississippi Beef Council!

My skewer of Grilled Shrimp seemed to me to be the perfect complement. Plump and delicious with a continuation of the smoky flavor infusion.

This popular destination has been on my “eating out” return trip bucket list for a while since it’s over an hour away from home.

I refer to it as a destination because it is an experience like no other. Yes, the food is wonderfully prepared, but it’s also a total experience comparable to roadside attractions from days gone by. Where you snap photos and look in awe at the largest “whatchamacallit” or the most unusual “thingamajig.”

The Steakhouse is located on old 178, but is visible through the trees while zooming past on nearby I-22 and does catch your attention even at highway speeds.
When first arriving, you will find a small hut where you will be welcomed and directed to available parking. The building’s entrance is outfitted with a covered wooden porch with rocking chairs, antiques, and western period statue, Out further, a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs full of folks enjoying the fire on a crisp night while waiting for their reservation or chilling out before the trip back home.
Even though you know the building is enormous when arriving, it’s still quite a sight when you enter for the first time. It’s an open floor plan that towers above while the second floor surrounds the interior giving you a birds eye view of all the action and giant bear sculpture below.

We eat with our eyes first, then taste, and memory of the total experience afterwards. With Marshall’s Steakhouse you get the whole package. Whether you just have a burger, or go for their coveted 48oz tomahawk ribeye. This is one roadside attraction and steakhouse you’ve got to experience. See y’all there!!!
