Bill’s Hamburgers @ 310 North Main St, Amory, MS. Founded in 1929, Bill’s is famous “With” or “Without” burgers!
Bill’s Hamburgers has seen a lot of history throughout its 75 plus years in business. Its countertops show wear from families getting their first taste of Eating Out. Only to be repeated with each new generation.
The shiny red stools, striped awning, and strings of light, reminds me of games of chance at the fair as a kid, with the delicious “With” or Without” burgers and a glass bottle of Coke as a guaranteed prize! Only at Bill’s Hamburgers do you still get to relive those fond memories with your own children!
The History of Bill’s Hamburgers as told by owner Reid Wilkerson – “Bill’s hamburgers was originally founded in 1929 by Bob Hill in Amory, MS. His secret recipe has been passed down for over 75 years! Bill’s unique flavor begins with our own fresh ground beef served “With” or “Wirhout”. ”With” is served with mustard and onion.
“Without” is served plain and you dress it with your own favorite condiments such as: mustard, ketchup, mayonaise, and hot sauce. Our burgers are so good, that’s all you’ll need! Thank You for dining with us and please come again.” –
For such a simply delicious menu, I decided to experience almost one of everything!
- Single burger “With”
- Double burger “With” plus cheese, pickles, jalapeños, and bacon.
- Sidewinder fries
- Homestyle chips
- Nachos on Homestyle chips
- Onion rings
- Cheese sticks
- Coke in a glass bottle
Every item was tasty in its own right. But my loaded down double, salty & crisp Homestyle chips, plus bottled Coke was pert near perfection!
So, which sides are your favorites? And how do you plan to eat your Bills Hamburger… With or Without? Give me a shout in the comments with your preference! Happy Trails!
