Southern Cooking Showcase! Steak for 2, Catfish, Chargrilled Oysters, Fried Shrimp, Boiled Shrimp, Fried Crawfish Tails, Fried Cheeze Curds, Fried Pickles, Wings, and Fried Cheese Cake!

As the restaurant’s name implies, fish, steak, and seafood are the main attraction. Plus, they have an updated building, comfortable atmosphere, and some great music on tap!

Chef Jed Duke prepared this fest and hand cuts each steak.

The Steaks are Certified Black Angus and aged a minimum of 30 days. While being prepared, the steak is braised and seasoned to perfection.

With just one bite I could taste the rich deep flavor and never once thought of adding additional sauce.

The fried catfish were battered and fried to a golden brown. It is Simmons Brand and brought in fresh on ice from the Delta each week.

One of my new favorite delicacies are the chargrilled Gulf Oysters! Bathed in butter and topped with shredded cheese. I could eat my weight in these tasty little crustaceans!!!

All the seafood is brought in fresh from Ocean Fresh Fish Seafood Market, only days out of the sea. The hand battered shrimp were plump, huge, and delicious!

For the peel & eat shrimp, this is my absolute favorite! The shell is already split up the back so the remaining work is quick and easy. Plus, the shrimp is seasoned so well that you could pop them one after the other without even adding sauce!

Oh, but wait! Don’t forget about the appetizers! They have several tasty options including fried cheese curds, fried crawfish tails, fried pickles, and chicken wings. You can order a sampler like this one or individually. I’ve always gotten a generous portion when ordering the appetizers and they also offer some homemade sauces to compliment your order.

If you want a little green with your protein, they have some fresh salads and cooked vegetable melody to choose from.

Although it will be extremely difficult, try and save a little room for desert. You can’t go wrong with the fried cheesecake. The cheesecake is breaded and fried, then plated with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate. This is a perfect ending to any meal!

Combined, the crew at 206 have decades of experience in the food service industry. So whatever you order, it’s sure to be the tastiest from the steaks to seafood!
